Hot Gameplay, Cool Data Practices
Volcano Jump runs on heat and spectacle โ not on your personal data. We designed the Game to function without any user account or identity, which means we have no mechanism to collect personal information even if we wanted to. Your high score is saved to localStorage under volc_best. It lives on your device. It cannot be accessed by us. It cannot be restored by us if cleared.
Server Logs and External Requests
Our hosting infrastructure generates access logs when you request the Game. These logs record your IP address, browser string, request path, and timestamp. We use them only for security and server health monitoring. They are automatically purged after 30 days. Volcano Jump loads the Boogaloo font from Google Fonts โ one CDN request per page load, per Google's privacy terms. Beyond that, no external script, analytics provider, or advertising network operates within this game. We checked. Nothing else runs.
Children, Rights, and Policy Updates
The volcano erupts for everyone: all ages, all backgrounds. We collect nothing personal. Children may play without parental action. If we ever add telemetry, crash reporting, or any data feature, we will name it explicitly here and mark the effective date before it goes live.
Your Data Rights
Players in jurisdictions with formal privacy rights โ including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and similar legislation โ may request information about data we hold. Because we retain only brief, anonymised server-access logs, such requests will ordinarily confirm that we hold no personal data linked to any individual. We respond within legally required timeframes. To submit a request, use the official Volcano Jump website or repository contact channel.
No Sale, No Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes. If we were ever legally compelled to disclose server-log data โ for example, by a valid court order โ we would comply with applicable law. We would not do so voluntarily for commercial reasons, because we have no commercial relationship with any data buyer or broker.
